I can barely get through with the first cup before I am faced with immediate bowel-evacuation. Work-coffee and store-coffee leave much to be desired, in that regard. Home-coffee packs a punch that cannot be matched! What gives, Foo?

No. But I am putting it through the french press, no sugar, and an ounce or two of Milk of Megnesia.

you clean your pot and filter and stuff. at work and store, you are just drinking brown bacteria laden water.

should mix the Milk of Mag with the half and half at work. that would be fun. Might get a day off.

What's up with that 3/4 empty bottle of Peptol Bismol ?

My Taster's Choice Gourmet Roast instant coffee does the same thing. All I gotta do is smell it and one of the things that makes me grouchy is eliminated, so to speak.

I wonder if it's that you're more physically and mentally relaxed at home? I think there was a similar study done about passing gas at home vs. during the workday.

I think I read that Foo study recently. <lookin' back through recent threads>

Pure gut-rot. Can you still taste it 4 hrs later? [ like in your gut?]

I likes me my coffee. And, no, I can't taste it in my gut (no tastebuds down there :p). I make it 1.5 heapin' teaspoons per standard-size mug, add in whole milk, and I'm set. Smooth, robust, rich, and great-tastin'.

Sounds like you've had some acid problems before. Ever tried Kava? Used to have to EAT that stuff to stay awake when I was a 24/7 sole caregiver.... That shiat sucked bigtime, but was effective without killin' my stomach....

You might have something there. However, my office smells just as bad as my apartment.
