I found these two kids bikes at the local thrift store. I could not get out of there fast enough with them!

The above picture is of a Columbia Fire-Arrow. It has 24-inch wheels.

This is a picture of the Western Flyer Fire Flight. You can't really tell how small this bicycle is unless you're actually standing beside it. Those tires are 20 inch!

I can't decide what to do with them. I've been told to leave them in just the condition there in and take them to an antique mall and others tell me to restore them. I would like to hang them up in my home as 3-D pictures!

My first bike, probably around the right year too. Mine was black, though; my sister's was aqua green.

Unfortunately 20" bikes aren't really worth much. Niether looks like it needs to be restored, just polish the chrome and clean them up real well.

Not right now its not, but hold on to it, eventually it will be :) how often have you seen a 20" bike like that? I know years ago people were collecting old Schwinn cruisers, then all of a sudden everybody wanted 20" Schwinn Krates and Stingrays, wanted them so much that they were, and still are, paying 1000.00 on up for em! Really nice bike by the way! :)

I know this is an old thread, but sweet bikes. Both look to be complete and the seats are in great shape.

Depends on where you are at. Here in SoCal I am betting you could get a couple hundred each at least. These old bikes even though a lot of them were produced, are fading fast. Anything older then the mid 60s will sell because of the retro look.

Bicycle historical archive says they are worth more if you just leave them alone. If you restore them, the restoration needs to be done exactly to factory colors/specs to retain value.
