I will admit, that does sound oxymoronic, but, that is what carbon is all about. Until you have worked with carbon, it is really hard to comprehend. Carbon is not a suitable material for freestyle, but, for what I am using it for (what it was designed for), it doesn't get any better. For racing, you simply aren't going to find a better frame material. That is the bottom line.

as bmxtrix said one time, i think, instead of spending tons of money on carbon or titanium parts just to get your bike down a couple of ounces (under-exagerating) you could spend like $20 a month for a gym memebership and lose more than a couple of ounces(probably pounds, given you actually go to the gym)as well as be stronger and have more endurance, and wouldn't nearly be spending as much money as you would on carbon parts. but if your rich, you might as well go with carbon.......

Another great thing about carbon is that it is super stiff, but at the same time it cuts down on a lot of vibration. About the money factor, have you checked the price of a Staats frame? They are a full pound heavier than a Morpheus, and they are fifty buck more too. That said, does anybody want to buy one? I have a PRO XL bnib w/ extras.

hmm, if they can make CF frames, or attempted to do so, what about CF skateboards? rite now i have an AL skateboard, but its very loud. And if the plastic endgards come off, im gonna cut up my shins and all.
