Our neighbors left for their bi-annual trip to Germany on Friday so we get to keep their dog (the neighborhood sweetheart) for two weeks. She's a 7 or 8 year old (can't remember her exact age) beagle. Her name is Blitzen. Everyone on our street knows her and she always wants to stop and visit with everyone she sees when we're out for a walk. :)

Here's her picture. She's getting settled in for her morning nap. She has a very tough life. ;)

We have 2 dogs and 8 cats. I figure the cats add up to another 2 dogs at least. An interesting furry dynamic in our house. Every single one of them is always on the wrong side of the door.
