I was thinking about buying some straitline brake levers, but not if they are going to make this stuff.

It's cool! You really need it. It'll really help with your leaking brake problem, too!

Didn't you see the SRAM release that came out on 1st of April? It's their new revolutionary integration stuff, kinda to compete against the Shimano Dual control shifter/brakes.

Left hand freedom. The ECI system allows complete freedom of the non-popular left hand which can be used for a variety of non controlling usages such as waving to friends, putting on lipstick or nose picking

I'm happy SRAM thought of this actually, do you know how many times I have been apporaching a corner, at warp speed, needigng to brake but also needing to pick my nose?! I've come off many times with finger firmly up my nose and thanking god that I didn't stab my brain :p:eek:

That invention is the begining of meaningless crap to find ways and make money. That invention just might be in the text for the definition of "gay". I guess that people are actually going to buy it.

That was funny. I feel a real kinship with Aussies. My daughters have a CD of children's songs that includes Waltzing Matilda and they've learned all the words as it's one of their favourite songs.

The only downside to Australia is that there are no real winters and it seems like the wildlife is out to kill you. I think there is no place on the earth that is more dangerous what with the crocs, poisonous snakes, spiders, sharks, jellyfish, drunk Aussies, etc.

We had an Aussie principal at my school in grade 3, and he taught the whole school to sing Waltzing Matilda, God Save the Queen and some Broadway showtunes. Memories...

Oh, and I think that Australia's unofficial motto is "Discovering a new lethal critter every day since 1853..."

Some of my best friends are aussie. Heck I live in little australia. In the winter its 60% aussie and the summer sticks around 40%...

Problem is you still have to get work visas and get massive delays moving up here :D

Yeah but where else in the world can you ride to work in the pouch of a Kangaroo. And have an animal where the early explorers sent back a stuffed vesion to England and pretty much every scientist thought it was a hoax, they thought that the platypus was an otter or beaver like creature with a duck bill stuck to it.

All those deadly animals have nothing on the most dreaded Australian animal, the Drop Bear, they live in trees and drop from the branches onto unsuspecting prey (humans and cyclists included) and then eat it. The drunk Aussie is easily avoidable and if you do get within sight of one (they may not notice you even if you are within 5m of them) just throw a kebab at them and you will be safe.

If so, that's a little excessive for an april fools joke.

Tim

it would take a lot longer to photoshop that picture and make it look good than it would to actually bolt all the levers to a handlebar and take a picture of it.

you could actually do it yourself if you have all the parts.
