Im going to be in Wilmington week after next for vacation. Im bringing one of my road bikes and wanted to see if there were any group rides that go on during the week. I saw the Flaming Amy's Burrito weekly ride but that pace of that ride looked a little slow. Looking for something in the B pace range.

Don't let that pace fool you. The ride through the neighborhood to the route around the lake is very very casual, but then it turns into a 9 mile, almost like a baby crit, for the two laps around the lake with typical avg. speeds in excess of 25 mph. This ride is switching to a Wed evening ride this week. The Saturday rides break out into to three groups with the fastest group at 26 to 22 mph and the middle at 19 to 22 and then the 15 mph. If you want to ride quick give Two Wheeler Dealer bike shop a call and ask about there Tues. Thurs. team/group rides, but I do not know if they have started yet, usually leave the shop at 6:00 pm. There is at least one other informal group ride during the week and I can pass on to you the email of the guy that leads them via PM if you want. I have ridden with them quite frequently on the weekends, due to us not wanting to travel for the CFC rides, and are in the 18 to 26 mph range depending on the bloody winds this time of year. They typically ride around 3:30 +/- during the week.
