Can anyone explain why I tend to get logged-out rather quickly, especially while I am composing posts? It has happened at least twice today, and I found it out only when I went to "Preview" a post (always a good idea), and got the log-in page instead. I had to re-log-in and try to pull the draft post out of my cached pages locally in order to continue. A real pain in the...

Is it simply a problem of the default amount of time that a user is allowed to be logged-in, and it happens to expire while I am busy composing the post? If this is the case, can the user adjust the time the cookie is active before it expires (which is what is happening here)? I see no way to do it in the User CP.

If it's another issue, what is it and how is it solved?

Sounds like a cookie config issue on your browser. How do you have how your browser handles cookies set?

Are you ticking the "Remember Me" box?

I don't at work and I only stay logged in a relativly short time if I'm not moving about the forums.

Forgot about the "Remember Me" box...:( I have ticked it off.

If I continue to have problems, I'll check my browser settings.

Thanks.
