I have just finished mapping out the last of the brevets in my area, and have been working on the advertizing "packages" (poster & brochure) to email & snail mail out to various sports-related businesses, the local cycling club, etc. to let them know about the brevets in this area.
My plan was to have everything ready by Saturday night, and then hit the send button today, Sunday. Sunday, April 1st.
And then I thought about it ... April 1st.
And I came to the conclusion that I didn't think it would be a good idea to send out information about doing something called a "600 km brevet" in 40 hours or less .... to places that are sort of generally into sports or shorter distance cycling, and who may never have heard of "Randonneuring" or "Ultra-distance cycling" ........... on April Fools Day!!!! :lol: I could just picture the reaction! :lol:
I'll wait till tomorrow. :)
