Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
whats up everyone.
Spring is here , anymore thought on the 'Clyde jersey"?
I went to a play last night with my friends Brian and Cindy, Brian is a Police officer and Cindy has a shirt embroidery Business that she runs out of their home.
long story short she is now doing silk screening and small lots are fine with her since this is more of a fun/ mad money type Business than her sole income.
I know topical ink screening is not as good as sublimation (sp)? but its available (better than nothing sort of thing).
I would think That everyone would puchase their own jersey to get the size right (yellow) then send them in for the printing.(nashabar has oodles of jerseys right now in larger sizes)
Let me know if this would work.

Same Here, by the way, I'd need a price on Silk Screening for a team shirt as well! I already have the Graphic, it's for my Tour de Cure shirt.
Well ,
I would need Hambones (or whoever has the file) art work sent /e mailed to Cindy and she can give us a printing price.
I told her it would More than Likley be only black ink on a yellow jersey (the entire sign and text is just black) she said EASY.
this could work.
again Ill need the artwork file HAMBONE YOU OUT THERE!!
Thats next I do believe.
again this option isnt the best /fanciest but It may be a way to get it done without jumping through Lots of HOOPs.

i'll be watching for details as well such as what graphix will be used and what the cost will be.
i have a professional heat transfer press but it does not work well on fabrics that will be stretched a lot like jerseys.

if anyone is interested in clyde stickers I would have no problems doing it. Although I am not sure where you would put it other then on your bike or car, but im just throwing it out there.
I'm working on a Clydesdale logo or two. Will try to post them this weekend, if you're interested.

do we have a logo yet? or a slogan? i thought of a couple slogans-
Clydesdales - We do it bigger.
Clydesdales - hungry for the ride.
I beat Anorexia!
Go BIG or Go HOME!
Fat and Fast
If you think i'm a good climber you should see me going down the hills!
Clydes do it sweatier.
Well Upholstered - BF.net Clydesdales
Sorry, still working on it. Not happy with it in Illustrator right yet. Will post shortly.
A question, though. I know there was a Team Clydesdale organization for some time. I can't find current info on them on the web, as all their web pages seem to be gone, domains expired or in a domain parking system. Does this organization still exist? If so, are we stepping on any trademarks or other registrations that might cause problems?

i polled my friends for some more clyde slogans-
Clydesdales - Size Does Matter
Clydesdales - Bigger IS Better
If you can read this, my keg fell off.
"Wide Load" <banner style
Clydesdales - Where the Blubber Hits the Road
I'm fat, and yet you're behind me?
I thought we all were going to use the "Clydesdale ahead" road type sign from all the early threads?
the yellow sign with the horse ahead of a bike and down below "clydesdale ahead"
