I'm trying to make a working average speed calculator in Microsoft XL and I know some of you promoters out there have probably done this before. I just need to know how to manipulate the formula given distance and time (example 22 min. 25 sec and 10 miles). I know you have to convert all to seconds and I can figure it out manually, but I don't know how to make XL break down minutes and seconds to all seconds. Thanks in advance.

Change timestamps to number formating, then manipulate.
1day = 1
1hour = 1/24 = 0.0417
etc
