Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - I have the Calories/Hr interactive sheet hosted for download Here!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

OK, the interactive spreadsheet I put together for computing calorie burn is located right here! The second data page is simply a static calorie burn log.

Feel free to DL and use it, it's in Excel Format.
All you have top do is enter total weight including your bike in the appropriate row for your speed and it will compute the caloric burn for you in Calories/hr. It's not perfect, doesn't account for slope or wind, but it's a decent average though....it's close enough for the purpose.

The archived PDF for Spinner Saturday 2006 is there as well!:D

This is awesome, i posted a thread several months ago and got huge variations in what you burn. In reality, it really doesn't matter how accurate it is as long as you have something consistant to measure against! This is exactly what i was looking for. Thanks Tom
