Mountain Biking - Singlespeed sticky, let's bring it to a vote

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is a Singlespeed sticky needed?

Well if we have a SS sticky then we will also need a rigid sticky, along with a 24" sticky, 29" sticky, under 100mm of travel sticky and an over 100mm of travel sticky.
I love pie! Cherry pie is my favorite.
only if we can get rid of other useless stickies

SS/FG forum may be fixie heavy (i'm guilty), but SS mtb/DJ/FR threads exist there. Seriously, the machines are so simple, is there enough discussion to even warrant a(nother) sticky?
There is too much yammering about them. Let's give them their own sticky to keep them out of our hair :D

No point making a sticky now that the fad is dying out.

Wait, singlespeeds are(were) trendy? I thought I killed that when I went SS.
SS has gotten sooo trendy. When I started riding SS there were only a handful of people on the band wagon, mostly people on Surly 1x1s. Trendy isn't a bad thing though, because now there are way more products available for SS than before.
While I love SS and it is all I ride, I also don't think there needs to be a sticky because I don't think of SS bikes as as separate from other mountain bikes. They are just one of the many options.
I vote for more stickies. More! Stickies!!
