I buy most of my tubulars by mail, since the selection at my LBS $uck$.

Your local LBS can order things for you. If you support them they might be able to stick around. Can you get things repaired by mail order?

occasionally, yes. probably better than the 10-thumbed mechanic-child at the LBS can, too! And, I get better pricec by mail, and don't have to listen to ignorant sales pitches. I only go to my LBS when I have no other choice. Service is terrible, quality is non-existant, prices are high, and the body odour of the ATB crowd in there can get unbearable in the summer.

Alex, At least a third of the members here are mountain bikers, could you please refrain from making these types of generalizations in the future? The anti-MTB attitude is not appreciated by everyone, thanks :)

Joe - I don't think Alex's comment's were too bad. If he said all MTBers were a-holes or something maybe, but to each his own. He's probably like most of the roadies I meet around here when I'm out riding, won't even give a wave or the nod of the head. Oh well, gives me pleasure when I drop them on the uphills on my "retro" fixed gear. I need to start working on my Lance style look back ;)

Personally, with the heat and the humidity here, I've been stinking pretty bad after rides! :D Guess Alex isn't riding to hard.
