I am shopping for a new tri bike and have $2000 to spend. I have only looked at one bike, '06 Cervelo P2 SL Dura Ace (on sale) and really like it. However, I don't want to have buyer's remorse when I later learn there was something better I could have gotten for around the same price.
Any other bikes I should be looking at for $2000?
Thanks for the help.

That is the bike where my money went, so I have a biased opinion. I don't have any buyer's remorse if that helps. Love the bike.
That looks like a lot of bike for the money, and Cervelo has a good rep. If you dig it and it fits, buy it.

If you really have to look around first, check on Felt and Quintana Roo. Both companies have a good reputation of offering a lot of bike for a good price.
But after looking around, you'll probably come back and buy the Cervelo. It sounds like a really good deal. And I would venture to say that the only way you'd have buyer's remorse after buying the P2SL would be if you bought the wrong size.

if you can find a leftover '06 QR Seduza in your size it would be a steal. They were 3K marked down to 2K at the end of last season.

For what it's worth, I love my P2 SL.

I shopped around and bang for the buck the P2 SL couldn't be beat! Not at that price, so I got it. Wahoo. I love it, but getting used to the areo position takes a bit of time.
Thanks for the advice and ideas!
