EDIT: PICTURES ADDED BELOW

I'm going to look at a 1985 Olmo Sintex in a few hours. There are no pictures, but he said it's pink and in good shape, with a Shimano 105 group and Campy rims. $250 sounds fair, right?

SLX or SL tubing? 250 sounds ok, offer him 200 and see if he bites. post some pics when you swoop it up.

He said the Colombus decal is smushed. Pics will have to wait until tomorrow...I won't be home with it until after dark, and my flash is broken.

Colombus SLX tubing, and 105 components except Campy rims, Dura Ace seatpost, and SR bars + stem. I had swore to myself that I'd never feel the need to buy a bunch of overpriced Campy stuff, but now that's what I feel like I should be doing. Oh well.

The paint is so awesome.

Very nice buy, a little clean-up and it'll look great. That's a unique forkcrown, does it affect the feel of the front at all? I'd just use the 105 stuff till it wears out, then replace with a Campy drivetrain. The main upgrade that will help it "sparkle" is a new stem, handlebars and wrap.

That's a lot better looking than I imagined when you said 'pink'. Nice bike, tight geometry, panto'd, nice seat cluster. Get the Campy fever!

Does anyone have any ideas what Campy group probably came original on the bike? It doesn't really matter, since I'll probably just wait for a deal on a whole bike with a Campy group to pillage, but I'm just curious. The guy I bought it from said he was told it' s an 85, but he doesn't know for sure...I can't find much info on the internet about Olmos.

C-Record, Croce D'aune, maybe Victory? But shimano is just as possible.
