Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

After Eskimo Joe's and some chili cheese fries, you'll have nothing to do until OSU football season kicks in!! There are some nice rides out there. Check out the Oklahoma Wheelmen web site.

Redbud (http://www.redbud.org/) in OKC is on the 14th.
For small town OK, Stillwater isn't that bad. Decent music every now and then. The Red Dirt Rangers come through often. Check them out when you get the chance. Lake Carl Blackwell is kind of nice in the summer. Some of the other smaller lakes are nice, too, since you'll have less boat traffic comming through.
You're also about an hour out of the only two cities in the state. Both get their fair share of music and other things to do.
Welcome to Oklahoma.

Oh, and there's the Oklahoma Freewheel (http://www.okfreewheel.com/) tour, if you have a week to kill in June.
The good thing about Oklahoma is that it is close to Texas. Go south my friend, go south.

And the best thing about Oklahoma is that it's not Texas.

Welcome to Oklahoma. As you've already seen, pay close attention to the wind when you leave for a ride. You can get out and not get back!
There is an active bike club there called the Red Dirt Peddlers.

They have a nice web site, check it out. I went to the Chili Bike Ride in Feb. It was a lot of fun and some nice people.
