Classic & Vintage - Source for vintage cycling shoes?

i'm looking to get some old school shoes. hard soled probably a set for with the slots cut into them, and maybe a touring set. anyone have a source they can point me too, and maybe a few suggestions?

i wear size 10 in addidas. i have seen conversions going from 43-44.5 = 10 in euro so im not sure what my euro size is.:D

I've got a pair of nice Italian leather shoes I'd part with--I went clipless a long time ago. They're big, like size 12-1/2-13, and definitely used but in very decent shape. The've got three slots for traditional cleats--they're made by Maresi, if that means anything to you (it doesn't to me.) Send me a private message if you're interested.

Unfortunately, I think the German site is an online cycling magazine (my German is a bit rusty though, I could be wrong). I can't find a place to order the shoes.

Does anyone remember the Bata Biker shoe? (Popular in the 70s and 80s... lace-up canvas with a rubber-covered toe.) I still have a pair around here somewhere. They ran about $20. I went through several pairs of them as a touring shoe.

Those were great. Inexpensive and very functional. I have a pair left and they are perfect for running errands.

I LOVE my Bata bikers! I found 3 NOS pairs in a closing shop...One pair in my size!

Last spring I got a pair of Bata cycling shoes NOS in a box of old parts at a bike shop closeout auction. I paid $5 for them and a ton of parts. They had maybe 10 more pairs of these shoes in boxes of parts. I should have bought more.

I emailed them in my really bad German and they replied in not quite as bad English. The price is 149 Euros (for Look, Campagnolo and Shimaino SL cleats) and 32 Euros for shipping. Too spendy for me but the right shoe for someone else.

intron, many thanks for the bottle cage clamps, they arrived last night. I'm looking forward to getting them onto my bike, after a little polishing up.

The second photo shows a damaged heel and missing cleat ... but I have a good pair - the ebay seller sent a replacement pair, NOS with both cleats.

These are 80s Rossi shoes, thin leather uppers and stiff plastic bottoms. I got em on ebay before I sort of chickened out on the slotted cleats thing (some say they raise your risk of injury). I got a pair of (size 9) Adidas Sambas instead for cycling in toeclips & straps. I wear size 9 street shoes for a snug fit, 9 1/2 for roomier. These 43s are on the snug side for me, narrow too, but you are welcome to em if you can use em.

Thanks for the offer sekaijin, but im going to have to pass. i wear size 10 sambas, so i know i wont be able to squeeze into the Rossi shoes.
