Well, about two weeks ago I decided to plunk down for a BB7. I saw that Blue Sky Cycling had them pretty cheap at $65, so I purchased them on Sunday night with the assumption that they would ship sometime during the week and I would have them by the weekend. Monday, nothing. Tuesday, nothing. Wensday, nothing. Thursday, nothing, so I gave them a call and they informed me that they were on backorder and the shipment wouldn't get in until Monday. Ok, fine, what's another week with V's anyways? Monday comes, nothing. Tuesday, nothing, so I give them a call during which they inform me that their "supplier is out for the day" and that they would get back to me the next day - which they didn't. I call them on Thursday, and they inform me that it would be two more weeks before the brakes would come in. Keep in mind that during all this, the item was listed as In Stock on their website and in the confirmation email they sent to me. It's still listed as In Stock on their site, even though it's still going to be another week before they get another shipment.

So I canceled the order, and used their site to price match over at Universal Cycles. It shipped on friday, and it arrived today. I assembled all my tools and got my bike all ready to go when I realize they sent a rear instead of the front I ordered. After a spectacular fit of rage, I gave them a call. I was expecting a whole other return/exchange fiasco, but they guy apologized for the mistake, and said he would send the correct adapter at no charge to me. Cool beans. A couple hours later, I got the shipping confirmation, and it arrives Thrusday.

Long story short: Don't order from Blue Sky unless you like waiting a month or more for your part to show up, and don't believe them when they list something as "In Stock" on their site. Universal Cycles messed up, but I've ordered from them a bunch and I believe this was an honest mistake, so they're still cool in my book.

I'm a big fan of Univ.Cycles.

They built me some killer wheels, and they accept PayPal. I have ordered from them quite a bit now.

Satisfied customer.

I ordered my Fox Van R from them. They order it direct from Fox as soon as I place my order. Fox sent them the wrong spring and they actually caught it before they sent it to me. I called to ask why I hadn't gotten it yet, and they told me the news. A couple days later, I got my shock express mailed at no extra charge. Very quick.

I ordered some shin guards, fork, brake cable, and headset from bluesky and they were at my house within a week, with the exception of the break cables. The break cables were back ordered and shipped the following week. Overall, I was pretty happy because I got the fork for $40 less than anywhere else I could find it.
