Anybody see the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather tonight (Tuesday, August 14)? (Mr. Rather was absent tonight.)

Series entitled, "Dividing Lines." Subject: America is still racially divided.

Byron Pitts reported, "...Sunday, it's said, is the most segregated
day of the week in America. And it's on Sunday one church states it's position loud and clear."

Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Atlanta Georgia, Bishop Earl Paulk Jr., Pastor. A congregation of diversity, racially integrated, including the congregation, the staff, and the leadership.

That's my church! It has been since 1991. I am proud.

Whoa! That's pretty interesting because I did see that piece and thought of you when they mentioned Atlanta. 'Course, nowadays, I pretty much always think of you, RonH, and even AlphaGeek and Cambronne (though they aren't exactly in the same city) any time Atlanta is mentioned. It is kind of wierd how geography has become defined by people I "know" from this forum. You know, JonR and Jramsey in Kansas City, Nebill in Nebraska, HogWild in west Texas, Hunter somewhere in central Texas, etc., etc..

Way to go, Pete! You picked a good one!

Like Rainman, I think of the people on the forums when I see references to different parts of the world. We seem to be picking up more and more people from all over.
