What's the Steepest Road in The OC?

I rode up Acacia (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=laguna+beach,+ca&layer=&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=17&ll=33.545508,-117.783051&spn=0.006393,0.011222&t=h&iwloc=addr) in Laguna Beach on Staturday and my Garmin registered 23% grade with 28% at the top. It's not very long -- maybe 150 yards at the most. Cove Road (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=laguna+beach,+ca&layer=&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=17&ll=33.462317,-117.707273&spn=0.0064,0.011222&t=h) in Dana Point is a bit longer but, it 's not as steep, only about 18%.

Anyone know anything steeper?

I've always wanted to go up Acacia... but I end up just going around it! I take Cliff to Rosa Bonheur to Cypress / Lindin to High. Then I cruise along the ridge to Hillcrest then back to PCH via San Jaoquin.

It avoids all the crap at PCH and adds a couple hundred feet of climbing.

Acacia is the steepest one I know of. Well done not flipping over backwards :)

Third Street is really steep and I want to try it someday.

Or maybe that was the other madmike, who knows...

We were thinking of riding 3rd st together... although I mapped it on Bikely and it was only 18%. Acacia is 20-21%.

Have you ridden up to Alta Laguna Park/Top of the world? I was thinking of doing that on Friday if I get to leave work early.
