Great Lakes - Milwaukee Expo start tomorrow

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It starts at 10 AM today Im going. I was going to ride my bike but the wind is alittle strong for me. It would be a long ride from the southside.

Not to mention the 30 degrees temp
I'll be there Friday night and Saturday afternoon at the Bike Federation booth. I'm using the theory that spending time volunteering will help keep me from spending more $$'s on cycling gear than I should .... of course that is easier said than done.

OUch...if I had known earlier I might have gone, but justifying 4 hours in the car (if I'm lucky) on a day off where the wife is off as wel......that would be marital suicide. I'll go ride instead....for 4 hours.....;)

I bought a new helmet and poked around for a while, talking to some folks. I didnt' see any super deals, but worth a side trip to attend. A couple folks from work picked up some new bikes (non-serious types).

I went today and picked up a few things .I was hoping some folders would be for sale but was dissapointed. It was not bad though and was a good replacement for the Chicago show which I will be unable to attend. Also Cream City Custard near state fair park has incredible burgers.P.s the trash can coverings are udderly ridiculous.
