On the way home from work the wind was starting to kickup and going along the southern shore of Medicine Lake I noticed flashes of lightening. The weather report was for showers in the morning. I guess 12:30 was morning. I started pouring it on and watched as both lightening and wind picked up.
I began counting down the miles hoping I'd make it. My chain came off on the fixed gear and I had to put it back on, then my hand was full of grease. I got rolling and got two more miles in before it started sprinkling, another mile and it opened up. 8 miles away from home in a sleeveless jersey I'm soaked. Fortunately last night was the night to haul laundry home so I dug out a shirt put it on and headed for home.
Of course by the time (2:10AM) I was safe and secure in my apartment the rain had stopped. ARRRGGGHHHHHH!

Personally I actually slow down on a ride if I think there's a possibility it might rain.
