I am looking for a shop that rents tandems. Trying to get my wife to get into bicycling more. I ride a lot and she doesn't. It is definitely something we want to try before buying something that we never use. We live in Bellflower/Cerritos area, so any place within 20 or so miles we could check out. If it matters, I am 6'3" and she is 5'5". Thanks, and if any one wants to chime in with a good places that sells women specific bikes that would be great as well as I will probably come back and ask sometime later.

Off hand I recall several in huntington beach, Venice Beach and Santa Monica area that rent Tandems Google these places for bike rentals and you'll get several places.

I was at the bike station in long beach a couple of weeks ago and they were renting tandems there for 10 or 12 bucks an hour. It is right next to the blue line last stop.

You're welcome to borrow mine if you like. It a cheap GT tandem with comfy seats. I know your wife will fit just fine but it will take some adjusting to get up to fit yourself. I'm across the street from El Dorado Golf Course so you can hop on the bike trail real easy from my house.

It's kinda far, but Bicycle John's in Burbank rents nice tandems.
