i had forgotten about this family!!! they are traveling across/around north america on a triple bike for the hubby and their two eight-year olds... the wife is on a bike on her own... both pulling trailers with their supplies and tent! AMAZING!

"a family adventure (http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/?o=1gci&doc_id=1495&v=1F3)" is the start page.... scroll down to "who are we (http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/page/?o=1gci&page_id=31749&v=cY)" (which is page 1 of 277) then use the navigation at the bottom of each page.... i haven't read all the text... but i'm enjoying the pictures!!!!!!

i just think this is so amazing in this day and age for a family to do this!!!!!!! They are in texas now... headed northeast to NY!

did i say AMAZING!!!!!!!

(i cross posted this in the touring sections cuz i thought they might enjoy it, too!!!!!)

That is amazing, thanks for sharing, Cali. I'm going to read some of their blog as I'm curious how the dynamic is working with the kids along. And what an awesome experience for them to have! I wish I had had as much growing (no offense to my parents intended!). :)

When we went across the U.S. in 1990 we met a couple on a tandem who were towing their small son in a trailer. They were camping, (we were motelling), and they were doing 50-60 miles per day. Quite an adventure.
