I want to get my 30+-year-old Gitane Grand Sport DeLuxe off the porch and was thinking of painting it and sticking it in the garden, but it occurred to me that, even though it's rusty, has two flat tires, and would probably cost me more to repair than a used bike, someone might be able to use something off of it. Is it worth listing it on eBay for parts (or listing specific parts), or since they're apparently very common, and low-end, should I go ahead and turn it into yard art? Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing... I just hit it on a search and would definitely hit it if it was 55-57 cm

I have an early 70s GSD - which I paid $29 for. I'm not sure the parts are worth anything. I tried selling simplex derailleurs on ebay before for 25 cents and I still have them. Not a single bid.
