Dig the saddle on this ride; I just bought an Urban-x yesterday (pretty decent deal btw, if your local shop stocks them), and the saddle is a "KHS Classic w/ Rivets". It's more or less a Brooks "Conquest", but with a grey plastic (sorry, vinyl) covering instead of leather. The rivets seem to be purely aesthetic, but that's ok.
I love this saddle! I own and have toured with the B17 (and it's true that nothing beats Brooks), but I gotta say, for daily commuting with a cheap-ish seat, this saddle seems to straddle the division perfectly. Perhaps if there's someone out there you know who WOULD love a Brooks but isn't confident enough to buy one you could get them riding this...from there it's only a small step up to the real thing.
