Campingsites east of Phoenix/Tucson

Could anyone suggest me a campingsite near the Hghwy 77, between Globe and Tucson (near Mammoth should be great).
And what about camping at the crossing Hghwy 60, Salt River Canyon?

No camping in the Mammoth area. Closest would be Catalina State Park, about 25 miles syuth on Oracle Road/hwy 77.
