Ride it like it is. No reason for you're bike to be super light.

well i kinda screwed up that post and realized i did afterwards, i forgot to put in the main reason for posting the rims i like to jump of huge things, parking structures, roofs, and so on....and thats why i love that bike, the frame is crazy strong but my wheels suck i was wondering what kind of wheels i should get that are strong and not toooooooooo heavy!!

If you have $$$$ to spend you have lots of options; G-sport Ribcage laced to a G-sport Homer front hub 48hole.

Back wheel would be similar, but I don't know of a bombproof rear hub.

I had a Haro X3, it was on '02 as well. First thing i got new was tires and grips. Because i didn't like either of the stock ones.

Most of that bike is pretty strong and will last you awhile. Just replace stuff as it breaks and ride what you've got.

just get a hazard hub laced to a midway rim. hazard hubs are pretty tough and midways are really stong and still reasonalbly price and not overly heavy.

Well be a good typer and learn to type things out correctly.

new_dharma
04-08-07, 11:34 PM
i'm a pretty good typerist (not a typo...i meant 'typerist') and i only use 4 fingers...never learned the "correct" way...got me through college!
I also like online dictionaries...
and waffles
Fruit is good...but i digress

FitRider 921

I used to be a fairly good typer, but having a laptop and typing on strange angles has gotten me back to typing with two fingers, but I'm still pretty damn fast.

MadMan2k

Sometimes I can type >100wpm, sometimes not... I usually make mistakes when I type that fast, and it's only when I have what I'm going to type visualized.

That happens being a computer geek and typing many times more words per day than you say out loud.

FitRider 921

I can't wait until I can play sports again. I won't have to sit on the computer all day anymore.

socalsuperbike
04-08-07, 11:47 PM
Yeah when i broke three ribs ( dirtjumping ) I could hardly contain myself, all i did was sit on the computer all day, when I did finally heal it was great i was so happy to be able to do physical activities again, you dont know how much you love it until you cant do it!!!

FitRider 921
04-08-07, 11:51 PM
Yeah, no kidding. But your ribs didn't sideline you for 9 and 1/2 months (when I will finally be able to go back to sports), did they? You have no idea how anxious I am to go and ride my bike and play a game of baseball.

socalsuperbike
04-08-07, 11:56 PM
no it was about 4 and 1/2 months, I would go insane if I had to wait 9 1/2 months!!!!

i can type 117 wpm with 100% accuracy which is pretty good but i dont type properly =P

FitRider 921
04-09-07, 10:22 AM
d4nny, if you type that well normally, try to type that well here (which I doubt you would have 100% accuracy all of the time due to the fact that nobody is perfect). It would be highly appreciated.

not at 100% anymore...dont=don't :)

tmowery18

How can you be 100% and not type properly? That seems impossible to me.

How can you be 100% and not type properly? That seems impossible to me.

"proper" typing dictates a certain finger position (there is a HOME position for the hand)...
I use a modified "Hunt-and-peck" w/o so much hunting anymore

so, what does new dharma mean?

new_dharma
04-09-07, 06:05 PM
Dharma: the underlying order in nature and human life and behaviour considered to be in accord with that order.
Ethically, it means 'right way of living' or 'proper conduct,' especially in a religious sense. With respect to spirituality, dharma might be considered the Way of the Higher Truths.
Dharma is a central concept in religions and philosophies originating in India. These religions and philosophies are called Dharmic religions. The principal ones are Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, all of which emphasize Dharma (the correct understanding of Nature) in their teachings. In these traditions, beings that live in accordance with Dharma proceed more quickly toward Dharma Yukam, Moksha or Nirvana (personal liberation).
Dharma also refers to the teachings and doctrines of the founders of these traditions, such as those of Gautama Buddha and Mahavira. In traditional Hindu society with its caste structure, Dharma constituted the religious and moral doctrine of the rights and duties of each individual.

Dharma can also mean 'enlightened one'
New Dharma=New enlightened one!

(i really like the Beat authors...Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Neal Cassady, Gregory Corso, Peter Orlovsky...)

Dharma is based on the idea that everything in the universe is causally linked. All things are composite things, that is, they are composed of several elements. Because all things are composite, they are all transitory, for the elements come together and then fall apart. It is this transience that causes human beings to sorrow and to suffer. We live in a body, which is a composite thing, but that body decays, sickens, and eventually dies, though we wish it to do otherwise. Since everything is transient, that means that there can be no eternal soul either in the self or in the universe. This, then, is the eternal truth of the world: everything is transitory, sorrowful, and soulless–the three-fold character of the world.

EDIT: Dharma's definition is better.
