We got to go into the mod only forum and to see other peoples past posts, all that. How do you think I found out that you can't put a mod on ignore??

People who wish to be mods have their heads screwed on backwards. It's lots of work, for no gain. I do it because I've been asked to do it and it's a way I can contribute to the forum. I suspect my term as mod will come to an end when I become a professor someday.

Max, you really want to be a mod? Why don't you practice by reporting all the bad threads around the forum and telling us (in all seriousness) in those reports how you would deal with it and why? Think of it as an hour a day of BikeForums homework. Try it out and see if you really want that blue star.

Oh, that really sucks!!! I have a habit of doing that too. Yesterday I wrote a check and put the date 4/7/06. I'm just not good at dates.

Maximan, maybe you should pm cuda about it, I don't think he has given anyone a temporary mod position yet this year. He'll probably help you out if you ask him nice.
