Did a race today and there were a lot of college jerseys. Do collegiate riders generally race in their own leagues or do they race in USCF races?

There is a seperate collegite league that is just for college clubs, but they do not have to ride in collegite races if the don't want to. Also they just had nationals a couple of weeks ago so their college season is over, so those who want to keep racing have to race uscf races. Hopes this answers your question.

Reason I ask is that I've done 6 races this year and this last one was for regional championships cat 5. All of a sudden there were a lot of college riders there, unlike in the other races. And the pace was markedly faster. It felt more like my training rides with cat 1 riders...
