Or more precisely, does Mountain Cycle still exist as a company? Google seems to offer old sites and contradicting information...

Anyway, does anyone know where to buy a Stumptown frame online?

I remember there was a lawsuit regarding the "Stumptown" name and Specialized's "Stumpjumper". I'm assuming Specialized won, considering they probably can afford better attorneys. Not sure what might have happened to Mountain Cycle. Poke around at bikeportland.org, they might have some news about it.

Thanks for the link. It seems the brand name has been sold off to china and local Portland factory closed. Hmm. I donŽt think IŽll have any interest in yet another made in China bike, sorry. Still, that CC bike looked mighty nice. What a pity.

There's a shop in Portland, OR that -- i believe-- managed to score all of the remaining Stumptown frames. There are precious few left now, but give them a call and see what they have left in stock.

Ah. I just checked. On their web site they list: Mountain Cycle Stumptown Framesets (sizes 59 & 61cm only) $675

http://www.cyclepathnw.com/

Good luck.
