are there any good books dedicated to fixies and ss's? i know that there is a plethora of info online but is there any good reads?

the cars r coffins zine is all about singlespeeds with a little bit of fixies, and a little bit of punk rock... but mostly singlespeeds. their logo is on the bianchi s.i.s.s. they have a website http://www.carsrcoffins.com/ and you can order the zines from them.

i haven't seen many books though.

some friends of mine and i were considering starting a zine or something at one point. the idea is still floating around, we just need content. there's only so much the few of us can write about without getting repetitive and boring.

to keep us occupied in the meantime we've started a website dedicated to our singlespeed/fixed gear riding, onegear.com

right now it's mostly a journal type of site, but we plan on adding product reviews and all that good stuff eventually.

I will be sure to check onegear.com out fore, only problem with reviews how much can you review? I guess there is quite a bit just not as much compared to full geared bikes...
