Ever dream of cycling the California’s Central Coast while helping people with lung disease? Well here’s your chance, join “The Lung Ride” to benefit the American Lung Association of California, Kern County Office. Three days, May 18-20, of cycling through the Central California Coast towns of Paso Robles, Cambria, Cayucos, Morro Bay, Avila Beach and San Luis Obispo. The ride includes transportation to and from the ride start, all lodging, two nights in local motels, all meals with a tri-tip and chicken BBQ Friday night in Cayucos and dinner Saturday night at the World Famous Madonna Inn, ride jersey and numerous well stocked SAG stops and rover SAGs. All of this while having a change to help children and adults with asthma and COPD. The main project being funded is the Mobile Asthma Clinic or MAC van. The Mac van is used in the under served areas to help diagnose and treat children with asthma. Along with is an education component for the child and his or her family.
