Wow, I missed all sorts of drama in the last 24 hours. Credit goes to the idiot/s who dug a 20 foot trench in a quiet corner of my world in an ill-fated attempt to make off with 300 pounds of copper wire. Unfortunately, the copper wire was attached to about 3000 phone lines, including mine.

At any rate, Congratulations to Fit! Don't worry, after a few days everyone will be back to their old selves.

As to the other interesting theme (calling things 'gay') here, I should mention that, in fact, we've a poster at work (which is right across the hallway from me) that goes into this specifically...I'll see if I can't smuggle a camera in and take a photo.

Race depends on your parents' genes, sexual preference is a preference.

they are not mentally handicapped...they are developmentally disabled, or DD for short.
calling something '********' is making reference to the perception & stigma people hold against DD people...and it really isn't cool (or nice).

Instead of racist, I think he was looking for the word prejudice(sp) but I could be wrong. Either way I dont think that word that starts with a g and ends with an ay is offensive to gay people.
