BMX - Might buy hoffman disrupter el1 (2007)

hey guys, im new to the furoms and um ive got some old bike and im thinking of buying a hoffman disrupter el1 2007 version, does anyone have anything to say like if anyone has 1 of those bikes if there is anything bad about them?

Someone a few threads down complains that it is heavy, ~ 40 lbs. I just got a Disrupter IL1, I like it, my first real bmx bike though so I can't tell you much.

The DK 6-pack is the most recommended starter bike. I chose to spend more because I wanted to start with a cassette, and wanted to try a gyro and full brakes first, take them off later... rather than the other way around.

There is almost no way the bike could way forty pounds even with full brakes and four pegs.

but he was talkin about the 2004 or 2005 model...

Still, should not weigh that much.

i wouldnt buy it..everyones gonna recommend u the 6 pack but i think ima get the eastern element

The Eastern Element isn't too bad, i'd prefer a Six pack, like you guess but my friend got an Element and it looks nice. Those cassettes are nice that the bike comes with. Smooooth.

Please talk here in full, complete, grammatically correct sentences so that people can understand you and so if someone else has the same problem as you, they can it by using the search function (which I'm guessing you haven't used). Just get the 6 Pack, it's a good bike and you will enjoy it. Also, most likely, your first trick will either be a bunnyhop or a manual.

Would this be in computers or keyboarding class? Does that explain why you can't type?

yep...needs more periods...or commas...maybe less use of the word 'and'

The Hoffman is a better all around bike. It is light and stable, as long as you het an EL model. The Element is not all it is cracked up to be, but still not too bad. The 6 Pack is a great bike, but by todays standard, it isn't light.

...and i meant like not bunnyhop or manual i meant like 180 or something good. Actually I think a manual not only looks cool but is pretty hard. And a bunny hop (if you can get a fairly high on) is also cool.

we play unreal tournament the entire class.

that was the best game a few years ago.

i play in journalism, and we play with the kids that are in computer science and the kids in stat...it's tight playing with people from all over the school
