Pacific Northwest - Cannon Beach, Or trip

I'm going to be in Cannon Beach for the better part of a week at the end of June, and will need to rent a decent bike. I'm training for the CA. Death Ride, which is on July 13th, so I really can't be taking a break from training while in Cannon Beach. Does anyone know any good stores that would rent me a decent road bike? It doesn't need to be state of the art or anything, just a good bike that I can pile some miles (and climbs) on. Thanks!

I just thought of a little bike shop in Cannon Beach that rents bikes. It's across the street from the Cannon Beach conf center. I'm sure they could help you out.

Go here to Mike's Bike Shop. I went here when I had a cassette and chain problem 2 years ago. I had ridden from Portland and my chain started skipping over the cogs. I bought the chain just the day before in Astoria, about 40 miles north of Cannon Beach, and the shop mechanic didn't tell me that it's usually best to replace the chain and cassette. Some guy on a motorcycle stopped to help me when he saw me having trouble with my bike. Turns out he worked at Mike's. He told me what the problem was and the next day (it was late at night) he put on a new cassette and fixed a few other problems. I believe there's only 2 bike shops in that town, and this place has road bikes, not just cruisers.
