Northeast - biking around new hope, pa

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Just bought my wife a Specialized crossover bike. She loves it. We put it on our Hummer and took both Specialized bikes to New Hope and did our first semi distance(15 miles) from New Hope south to Washington's Crossing and back. The bike path is dirt and gravel and you ride past the canals and the Deleware river. A most scenic route. Since this was out first time going more then a few miles in Flushing Meadows Park we were exhausted but exhilirated.
Did we push ourselves???

Wait till it gets warmer and all the trees are blooming along the river, bring yer camera and bike lock, ride into Lambertville, Pub on corner by bridge or Lambertville station for lunch, walk you bike over the bridege and sight see, get ice cream at the shoppe....Get to parkin lot before 9am on weekend warm days or no parking for miles! Also on way back from Lamertville/new hope there is a flea market on your left....have fun
