I have a question for those of you with the mesh seatbacks. Mine is slipping off the top posts. I asked my LBS to fix it (Where I bought the bike) and when I got it back all they had done was put 2 zip ties on the back to keep it from slipping further. I asked the manager why they didn't remove all the zip ties and fix it? He told me they couldn't fix it becuase the nylon seatbacks shrink, and if he had removed them (the zipties), they never would have gotten the seat back together again.

Has anybody ever heard of nylon shrinking like that?:(

Sounds like horsepuckey to me. I've taken my RANS seatback off before and not had a problem. He did what he did because it was easier. It's not rocket science - why don't you just get some heavy duty zip ties and do it yourself? Might be easier than fighting with the LBS.

I contacted Bacchetta on their website and they thought it was a bunch of Hooey too. They are sending me the zip ties to fix the seat myself.
