Mountain Biking - Only half of my order was right!!

After waiting since the 26 of May my order from pricepoint finally came in today. With glee I opened the box to see that only half of it was correct!!! I have two new front tires.:rolleyes: I have been waiting on these tires to come in the mail so I could leave for Colorado and now I have the wrong thing. I don't think I'm going to let this hold me up any longer.. I'll either ship one of them back and see if they will do a priority ship of the rear tire and if they will not do that I'll just turn the thread facing the other direction..... :mad:

The tires are Kenda Kharisma (UST Tubeless)

heh.. what colour of tire did you get? I bought a front and rear of the Kharisma 1.85 in Blue.. matches my sugar Perfect!

Mine are black. The bike is a 03 black and white NRS 1. Though when I get back from CO I'll have some black with white sidewall Hutchson Pythons waiting for me.. Those should look quite sweet on my bike!

I just got off of the phone with one of the reps at Pricepoint and he said that they would be more than happy to send me the rear tire.. I just have to send this other one back. Well It is raining out today anyway so this gives me a good excuse to repackage it.

Hope you get that tire soon! Yeah, those Hutchinsons are killer tires... I've run the Yellow and Black (Didn't match anything), and really liked 'em. Watch it on the realy gnarly rocks... the sidewalls shread easy (kevlar)...

Yeah, I have had more problems with the Hutchinson's but I would still rather be riding on them than the other tires out here.. They're fast! How do you like the KK tires. These will be my first pair.

Nice... I really liked the KK, other than they are alittle thin. I rode them at the Hardwood 24 hours race (Above), as about 5km of the track was cedar chippings, and the rest of the singletrack was very smooth (No rocks). For Kelso on the other hand where there are a lot of rocks and roots, I will be riding Panaracer Fire XC 2.1... it's all about where you're riding really...

Well I just put the front tire on and talk about small. I didn't realize they were that much smaller than the Pythons. I have yet to try them out because of the rain so I don't know how they handle... but man are they small. I guess next time I look into buying tires I'll have to check the measurements. Also I had a small problem getting them to seat.

I just placed an order with Price Point. I hope they don't mess it up. Is this common from them? I would think not, but you never know.

No, I think you are safe.. It was just that my order allowed me to choose if I wanted a front and rear or 2 front or 2 rear. I'm guessing that someone just overlooked the fact that I put 1 Front and 1 Rear. My order when received said that I only had 1 front when two came in. Go figure...

Pricepoint is usually pretty good with my orders... never had a problem. Good customer service too.

Yeah, they were more than happy to ship me the right thing... they are going to pay for 2 day shipping and everything. They're also going to pay for me to ship the wrong tire back. Though it would be nice if I could keep it, free stuff is always cool.

They were supposed to send me a chainring a while back..Never saw it though. I bought a Crankset from them and the small ring was bent pretty bad, but after a few weeks of waiting for the replacement ring I just bent the original back into shape. I've never had a problem with it, but I never use the small ring anyway...hee hee. :P That is a reflection of the trails, not the rider.
