Up to 500 cyclists will pedal across the U.S. next summer to raise awareness and funds to fight global poverty. Looking for donations, including bicycles to be used by participants who are from developing countries.
*Note: Riders must be sponsored by a Christian Reformed Church

Does that mean we atheists won't be allowed to help fight global poverty?

No, just that we have to organize our own event. Not sure of the tone of your comment, but this is one area where we need to unite and play nice.

Atheists can help fight poverty. In fact our relief & development programs partner with and benefit people of all religious persuasions or lack thereof. They just need to find their own funds for this particular ride as the CRC denomination is underwriting the cost of the support crew & equipment. The cyclists bring their own bike but everything else is covered, allowing for all donations to go directly for programs.
I apologize for not explaining that better with the first post.
