Hey guys, i'm a roadie who would like to mess around with a BMX bike to have some fun. I just have no idea how to size up a BMX bike for myself. i'm 5'10"ish - what would fit me for a BMX bike?
most likely somthing around a 20.5 to a 21
its mostly personal preference.
www.danscomp.com has a sizing chart

One main thing you have to realize is that bike setup is based on comfort when standing up, and ability to pull up the front easily. Not comfort when sitting down, a roomy 'cockpit', or bars forward enough to stretch out your arms. That all works itself out when you're standing up, if you have it setup similar to what you see in pictures of real riders' bikes.

If you are 5'10" then i would go with something between like 20.75-21 but it's all personal preference. If you want to do more tech tricks and such you probly want a shorter tt but if you like more flowy type stuff or ride trails or want to race a bit you want a longer frame. Or if you have long legs.
