If I order new bike from US sending to Munich Germany. How many TAX for bicycle?
I heard that some country is 0% some 30% like Thailand.

If it is made in China there will be an antidumping duty (50%) and VAT (at least 17.5%). The EU also has a high anti-dumping duty for bikes made in Vietnam. However if it is made in Taiwan you will only pay VAT

simpleway, I don't think that either Yan or anyone else in this forum can say what Bike Friday would charge you. The best way to find out is to call or email them and ask.

you have to calculate about 20 % for duty /vat
that is not including freight of course

Thanks I ask dealer in Germany. He said about total price plus shipping. I'm not sure he means its include vat/tax or not and asking via mail for few days but no reply. If I am a tourist how go to German. Can I get Tax refund? My freind will go to Germany(from Thailand) and bring back for me.
