Ive been researching my butt off trying to find the right bike, ive test rid the fsr, bighit. The big hit is too heavy and the fsr doesnt have quite enough suspension travel. I really want a sumpjumper or enduro but they are alitle out of my price range.
Anyone know of any bikes in between the big hit and fsr that is under 1600$ ??
Anyone do any drops or jumps with the fsr, how does it handle?
Thanks guys

If you have been researching your butt off you should know that a stumpjumper would be a very bad choice for jumps and drops.
edit: Also you said you really want a sumpjumper or enduro but a big hit doesn't have enough travel...I don't think you know what you want.
Anywhooooo....
Here are a few full suspension bikes in your price range that would be good for drops and jumps.
Brodie Recluse
Kona coiler
Specalized Big Hit I
IronHorse Yakuza SB
IronHOrse Kayuza Ojiki
IronHorse Yakuza Aniki
Haro Extreme X6
do you know you want a full suspension? or do you want a hard tail?
I know this guy who has a real sweet Yeti ASX that he is anxious to sell so that he can get on with his life ;). It's no dirt jumper by any means; but its compact layout lets it pop much better than a 7-7½" bike has a right to. Plus, if you case a landing there's all that forgiveness.

^^^You don't say? I wonder who "this guy" is?
Have you posted it on ebay yet?

Have you posted it on ebay yet?Twice! Once with the reserve too high and the second time with no bids. Might lick my wounds and do it again if the local sale doesn't happen this week.

Hmmm bummer.:( Good luck.
You could also post it on pinkbike or ridemonkey, but make it clear that you will ONLY accept paypal. 50% of the buyers will try to scam you.

Got it on RM - - but just in the Pacific NW buy-n-Sell sticky. Lotta gravity folks in that forum. I had it on PinkBike and my latest experience with a scammer came from that posting. That's all I've ever gotten from PinkBike listings; so I've sworn them off forever.
