Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Andrea Pesenti obsession

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Andrea Pesenti is the man who designed these dream/drool machines

Despite this spectacular resume, the only article I can find on him is this short piece in cyclingnews (http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech/2005/shows/eicma05/?id=results/eicma056). The article mentions a high end frame shop he's set up in San Patrignano, that employs recovering substance abusers. The third pic is a Hesperius prototype. Googled these and came up empty.
It also mentions the Modular One and the Mizuno Raffica 333, supposably carbon masterpieces way ahead of their time, but info on those is nonexistent, according to my scant research.
Any additional info would be appreciated.

Id love to ride that first one on the street here.

...and attain instant Gaijin A-list celebrity status. At least amongst the Japanese bike geeks.
That Hesperius needs red Nitto rizerz and a 650HED front.

i'd like to ride all of them just to see how they'd all feel...
the stem detail on that cinelli is beautiful though. i guess it's never supposed to turn a corner?

Luckily for Cinelli, tracks aren't city blocks.
I like how the Crossbow (green n white, last pic) is supposed to be a "city bike". I don't know what the city of San Patrignano is like, but none of the "city bikes" round here have disc brakes and carbon forks. Must be nice to live in a place where you wouldn't get shivved for that rolling work of art.

seems like when i ride on a track, i don't completely lean into turns but turn the fork a little bit.

And from my super-detailed eyeball estimates, that's got about 30-45 degrees of movement from center to each side. Certainly about as much as I ever turn while under way.

I don't quite fathom the INSANE prices his bikes fetch, except maybe from a sculptural design standpoint.
But still, $10,000+? Damn.

that'd get you a Look Athena... frameset.
For those of you with some money, that 2nd bike with the Corima wheels was being c-listed in London for 900Lbs. The game would essentially be over. Until you crack the frame playing footdown.
