Recumbent - Question about saddlebags/basket

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have been riding traditional bikes for years but am new to recumbents. I just purchased a used Sun EZ Sport CX and need some advice about saddlebags/baskets. I do not race and only ride about 10 miles a day. I also use my bike around town (such as going to the grocery store, etc.) On my traditional bike, I have a rear rack with two saddlebags that work fine for me. However on the Bent I am wondering what is the best alternative to achieve the same purpose. I appreciate any accessory suggestions, including brand and model. Thanks.

I don't know about your specific bike, but many bents can take rear racks/panniers like you are used to. Or other options like bags that hang on the back of the seat or "mid-ship" racks and bags that hang under the seat. You can see the latter on my Cafe just one thread down....
Here's the link.
Bottom of the first page and the second page has bag pics.

On my Lightning P-38 was able to mount the "traditional" bike rack on the back which holds panniers great...course is different than yours by a little.... .. ... ... . . ... ... peace
