Couple people have asked for bicycle directions to the course on Tuesday nights.
The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation puts out a map, you’ll want to buy one before you head out.
Take 55th to Kedzie.
Kedzie south to Claire Blvd (it’s at 137th street and runs on a diagonal).
Claire south/west to Pulaski.
Pulaski south to Midlothian Meadows (forest preserve at about 155th street)
Take the path west to Cicero (this is where you’ll want to check the map, it’s easy to get turned around)
Take the path/sidewalk (parallels Cicero) south to Yankee Woods (another forest preserve at about 165th street, right hand side)
Take the Yankee Woods path south/west to Central Ave.
Central Ave south to the Ace Paint Factory (half mile past 200th st. on the left hand side)
All skill levels are welcome. These races are very popular for good reason, it's a great way to do racing miles close to the city. If you're new to racing it is particularly helpful.
If you drive out to the course, don't forget about the Dan Ryan construction.
