I posted this over in mechanics and got pointed here, so hopefully somebody can help...
Hi all, this is my first post so sorry if I've missed something (although I did search). Anyways, I've had a Diamondbak Outlook (I want to say a '97 model) for years now and throughout this entire time I've had problems with the saddle bending on me. Now I'm a big guy, athletic 220lbs, so if I remain seated for even the smaller bumps it puts a lot of stress on the seat (I've used this mostly for city commuting). I was hoping the experts here could direct me towards a strong, heavy duty seat post, preferably with that neat little shock/suspension built in to hopefuly help distribute these stresses a little better as well as a heavy duty saddle that can hold up well. Does anybody have any ideas?
