So my girlfriend and I are looking for a bike for her. She really likes the hybrids and was just wondering everyone else's opinion on a few. We are looking in the low 300's range. We are looking at the GT Nomad, Trek 7100, Gary Fisher Tiburon, and the Giant Cypress. She is new to the sport and we will be doing some long trips this summer so we are looking for reliability. I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks of these different bikes.? She likes the rapid fire shifters, which the GT and Gary Fisher have. Overall, she seems to feel the best on the GT as well. Any other input would be awesome. Thanks!
Which ever bike fits her the best and she is most comfortable on is your winner.

You already have your answer.
Seriously, similar style bikes at a similar price point from reputable manufacturers are going to be of similar quality. If the fit and ergonomics are the same, pick the best color.

It's looking like we're gonna get the GT in a couple weeks, but I was just wondering if anyone had any other input before we actually purchase it. Thanks!
