I'm just about ready to do my first tour. It'll be self supported and close to home (I'm on an island... can only get so far away).
My current list of stuff is below. I've done a test packing to make sure everything fits. I still have room for food (though I don't have that figured out yet - other than oatmeal, it seems a lot of experienced tourers eat a lot of oatmeal). I'm using two Arkel T28's and two Arkel T42's and a generic trunk bag.
Let me know what you think! Some items I know aren't on there yet are: bike oil, rain gear, extra spokes, and food.

o Homemade Pepsi Can Stove (still working on)

o 2oz No-Rinse Body Bath
o 1.25oz Insect and Tick Repellant
o Fresh-n-Up Towlettes
Tools:
o Folding Leatherman Knife
o Small Dorcy AAA LED Flashlight

o Large Elastic Strap
o Small Crescent Wrench
o Park Tools Spoke Wrench
