Hi I'm JD, 32 years old, live in Fishkill, NY - 60 miles north of NYC. I'm brand new to the sport of Triathlons / Dualthlons, but I am ready to roll with it. Training for a Sprint Tri in June, just got my bike 2 weeks ago, Cervelo P2C and am now looking to get a better set of wheels for it. Question I have is what wheels, defenitely want Carbon Clinchers are recommended for everyday and race day use?
I have been riding the North County Trail in Westchester County as my riding trail and it is very flat an fast in a few places but a little rough in the Yorktown part of the trail but it is 100% paved and pothole free, so don't think that it will be too hard on the wheels. Looking in the 1000 - 1500 dollar range. (Spinergy, Hed rims or Mavic seem to fit the bill).-- Yeah the expensive bill.
